Q. Tell us about your work?

A. It’s all about color. I look for inspiration in nature to find interesting color combinations and work from there. I generally start with creating a captivating background by laying in several thin glazes of paint.  This layering process allows light to interact with the colors and create unique shades and values. Then comes the foreground again inspired by nature. I gravitate a lot towards flowers and animals. I like simplicity and it’s apparent in my work. My work is bright and bold and will always bring a smile to your face. Also I love motorcycle and love to use them as subjects.

 

Q. What advice do you have for your peers?

A. Create art for your own pleasure.
